About Our Enterprise

We connect adventurous minds to the living heritage of the Uvidunda Mountains.

“Tourism should never be a passive observation. It must be an active, mutually beneficial exchange between guest and host.”

Uvidunda Mountains Cultural Tourism Enterprise (UMCTE) provides guided mountain treks, village immersions, and cultural workshops across our highland home.

We operate side-by-side with the Shimulimuli Heritage Foundation (SHF). While UMCTE takes care of expedition routes, mountain safety, and tour logistics, SHF records ancestral stories, preserves sacred sites, and supports indigenous craftsmanship.

01

100% Native Mountain Guides

We never outsource your experience to external travel operators. Every single guide, host, and storyteller in our program is a native resident of the Uvidunda villages who knows these ridges, plants, and customs by heart.

02

Direct Local Reinvestment

Every tour booking directly supports mountain households. Proceeds pay fair daily wages to local guides, compensate village elders and traditional artisans, and maintain pristine trail ecology.
